District 26 is the Oregon Area 58 District serving North and Northeast Portland. Our primary purpose is to maintain sobriety and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety by connecting with the AA groups that have originated or are currently located within the geographical section pertaining to district 26 in Area 58-Oregon of Alcoholics Anonymous; or by an officially recognized and registered AA groups choosing to have District 26 serve them. A group is a member of District 26 when they send a General Service Representative to the monthly business meeting. Our common welfare should always come first and personal recovery second.
